Twelve Tuesdays beginning September 20th thru December 6th, 2011: from 6:30 pm to 8 pm

At The Fit Pit, 6238 Merriam Drive, Merriam, KS - conveniently located at Northwest corner of I-35 & Shawnee Mission Parkway


The 2011 Fall PERFORMANCE PROGRAM will enhance:

  • Functional Strength - Increase strength & power without gaining bulk
  • Run Form & Fitness - Learn how to be faster while boosting your fitness
  • Cycling Skills & Power - Outdoor and trainer rides to maintain and improve cycling skills
  • Nutrition - Understand how your body processes the food you eat and how that
    impacts your performance. Get lean and be ready when spring returns!


Join Ken Welsh & Fit Pit Coach, Sheryl Hammontree plus other local endurance athletes for a weekly, two-part session focused on strength and cardio. The PROGRAM will be unlike anything you have done before or are able to do on your own. You will work hard, learn a lot and have a ton of fun. The focus of The Performance Program is to make you a more effective all-around athlete. You will develop stability, balance and flexibility – increase power, stamina and core strength; making you more efficient and increase your resistance to training injuries.

Whether you like to race or enjoy a fun, challenging group training session, The PERFORMANCE PROGRAM is for you.

Regular Registration Fee is $240 which includes all 12 weeks of training, a long sleeved tech tee and a guest pass so you can bring a friend one evening.

NEW FOR 2011 - If you can't commit to the full 12-week PROGRAM we are offering two, six-week options running Sep 20th - Oct 25th or Nov 1st - Dec 6th.  Registration per segment is only $120.
